| Description |
The Phoenix Lake near Ford Factory photographed c. 1923. Henry Ford built a new plant that opened in 1922 and produced electrical parts, voltage regulators, and switches. The Phoenix Plant employed only single or widowed women between the 1920s and 1940s. The plant is slated to become a women's museum in the near future. |
