"Ty and The Babe: Baseball's Fiercest Rivals and Eventual Friends"

Tom Stanton has been a journalist for nearly thirty years and a baseball fan for ten more. Stanton is the author of four baseball books: Ty and The Babe, which is his latest; Hank Aaron and the Home Run That Changed America, a Reader’s Digest pick of the month; The Road to Cooperstown, a poignant true story about a father-and-son road trip; and the Tiger Stadium memoir The Final Season, which was named best baseball book of the year as winner of both the Casey and Dave Moore awards. He also edited the Detroit Tigers Reader.

Come listen to Tom talk about the relationship between Ty Cobb and Babe Ruth. He will have his books for sale at the event and will be available for autographs. Admission to the event is $5. No tickets are necessary. No passes will be accepted for this event.
