The year is 1922 and the act of prohibition has forced all drinking establishments to close. Without easy access to liquor and establishments, “Speakeasies” such as The Caterpillar Club have sprung up all over the country, however this is the first of its kind in this city.

It’s a usual night at The Caterpillar Club – until, that is, the biggest organized crime boss and mobster in the city, Bulletproof Bill Mahoney, is found dead! Suddenly, the patrons find themselves suspects in a murder investigation that has to kept “hush hush” in order to keep the coppers away and the speakeasy open!

Join us for an evening of suspense at the Plymouth Historical Museum on Saturday, April 6. Help us solve this dastardly murder, while enjoying pizza and cookies. Tickets are $25 per person and will go on sale to the public on February 11, 2019. Feel free to come dressed in period attire!

This mystery is the precursor to "A Flapper Murder at the 1920s Speakeasy" that is scheduled for Saturday, March 30, 2019. The Flapper Murder Mystery has already sold out to members during the pre-sale period. You can sign up for the wait list for the Flapper Murder Mystery if April 6 doesn't work for you.

Our murder mysteries are very popular. It is recommended that you purchase tickets as early in the day as possible on Monday, February 11 to avoid disappointment. For the best possibility of getting tickets, you should purchase through Eventbrite, rather than waiting for the Museum staff to be in. These tickets will sell out rapidly!
