"Votes and Vice" Special Exhibit - Home - Plymouth Historical Museum - Votes_and_Vice

A special exhibit focusing on the 18th Amendment, Prohibition of Intoxicating Liquors (ratified on January 16, 1919), and the 19th Amendment, prohibiting the states and the federal government from denying the right to vote to citizens of the United States on the basis of sex (proposed on June 4, 1919). The exhibit will look at the history of prohibition, temperance, and women's suffrage with vignettes on these topics.

Votes & Vice opens January 16, 2019, and runs through June 16, 2019.
