Support Us

The Plymouth Historical Museum is a private, 501(c)(3) charitable organization. It does not receive any government funds and continues to thrive through generous donations from the community, membership dues, and admission receipts. There are many ways that you can support the Plymouth Historical Museum.

The Museum has nine part-time staff members and a cadre of volunteers to run a 26,000 square foot building. Utilities expenses are near $30,000 per year. Money is always appreciated to help keep the doors open so visitors can experience Plymouth community history.

The Museum's biggest fundraiser of the year, "A Night FOR the Museum," will be held on March 9, 2019 at the Italian American Banquet and Conference Center in Livonia. Most of the money that we raise for that event comes in the form of sponsorships. Click on the Sponsor link to find out how you can make an impact by being a sponsor for the Museum.

Interested in learning more about the Museum’s volunteer opportunities? Contact the Volunteer Coordinator or call 734-455-8940 ext. 4. Join us in making a difference in the life of our community.
