The Dunning - $2,500+

Margaret Dunning, born in 1910, is a philanthropist and major benefactor of the Plymouth Historical Museum. In the 1970s, Margaret put up the money to tear down the Museum house and build a 15,000 square foot building. The new Museum opened in 1976. In the late 1990s, after a fundraising campaign to purchase the Weldon Petz Abraham Lincoln collection, Margaret again stepped forward with the money needed to increase the Museum to its current 26,000 square feet. Margaret celebrated her 104th birthday this June. She is the Plymouth Historical Museum’s First Lady.
