Admission is free for members of the Friends of the Plymouth Historical Museum. Membership Information. Tour groups can be accommodated; please call 734-455-8940 for a reservation.

Students $2 (6-17)
No admission fee is charged for access to the Museum Store only.


The Museum is located at 155 S. Main Street, just north of downtown Plymouth, Michigan. 

The Starkweather- $500-999

George Starkweather (1826–1907) was the first child of European ancestry born in the current Township of Plymouth. He was the son of pioneers William and Mary Keziah Starkweather. He married Amelia (on right in the photo), adopted daughter of Jehiel and Mary Davis of Plymouth. During his career, George was a member of the Michigan State Legislature (elected in 1854) and was president of the Village of Plymouth in 1898.
